Ingredients (4 servings)

750 g of cauliflower cut into medium florets

3 c. Ketchup soup

2 tablespoons sugar tea

¼ c. Black pepper

Salt to taste

150 ml of water

Method

1 - In a bowl, add cornmeal, regular flour, black pepper and salt. Add water little by little, mixing well to remove lumps. Add the flowers to the dough and mix well

2 - Heat the oil to fry over medium heat. Add cauliflower in batches and let cool for 5-6 minutes. Make sure the heat is not too hot because you want the cauliflower to cook completely.

3 - Fry them in light crisp brown and drain with paper towels. Keep warm while making sauce

4 - For the sauce, heat the oil in a wok or kadhai over medium heat. Add the white part of the shallot and fry for 2 minutes. Add garlic and ginger and sauté for 2 minutes.

5 - Add the chili and garlic sauce, soy sauce and tomato, and stir over low heat for 1 minute. Add vinegar, sugar and black pepper now. Season according to desire


6 - Add the water and simmer for 2 minutes while the sauce thickens. Add the fried cauliflower florets and mix well, covering them with sauce.

7 - Heat for one minute, turn off the heat and let stand a few minutes while the cauliflower absorbs all the flavor of the sauce. Serve hot with egg rice or noodles.
